welcome to my leechjar. we're observing eachother !

this home page is an experimental 'currently listening' log. i keep track of all of my music meticulously in a lot of places, and it tends to be a core feature of all of my online presence. this place will be no different in that respect. the art gallery is what is sounds like on the tin. the writing page will just be a place for me to Not have to shut up. there's no rhyme, reason, or theme to it beyond that. i have a lot of ocs, and i like to talk about them. that page will be a place for that. this website is NONFUNCTIONAL on mobile will likely be so indefinitely. im doing shit from scratch right now with 0 experience wip wip wip

it's the leech palace

so what've i been listening to lately? i don't know how i'm going to organize a music log other than progressively, so we'll start from square one: what i've got playing right now (updated when i've got new stuff). how to read: song (link included) or song selection from album. everything else is albums.

i use spotify and/or youtube for the majority of my music tracking, listening, organization...but spotify is evil so i'm not sure how to approach full-playlist logging, or really any coherent approach to capturing what i'm finding and what i'm into otherwise. it's messy and entrenched and i know it. for now, i have three important new finds dumping locations: one for curated selections grabbed from the discover weekly feature over the past ~10 years, one that represents finds from intentional full-album engagement (an ongoing project for experiencing projects fully, finding deepcuts, all that), and one for tracks found by any other means that i want to hold onto (but that aren't from the two prior methods). links provided below. also a link to my bsky music tag, which is more "stream of consiousness feed" style presentation. also trying out youtube music; it's been great but for some reason you can't see what day you added something to a playlist. so if i start recording to the day that's uuuh why
